Knowing what these refugees had been through was heartbreaking, yet when working with them, dancing with them and conversing with them was really amazing. The ability & the want to share about their cultures, where they came from, their experiences really showed me how powerful creativity really is. Being able to connect with people all over the world without having to speak the language is a true privilege when it comes to being a creative artist. This has been such a humbling experience which I am so proud and pleased to be a part of.”
